E@: Uso de internet como espacio artístico habitable

Abordando la red social denominada “E@” (www.arteweb.ning.com) como obra artística, nos preguntamos ¿Qué vemos? ¿Qué nos parece? ¿Qué es?. Los miembros de esta red trabajan en ella como artistas (creadores de imágenes) y también como docentes ( arquitectos del conocimiento). Utilizan Internet para crear y exponer sus trabajos  artísticos y docentes. Sus usuarios son invitados a implicarse en su propia formación como ciudadanos críticos y comprometidos, para el desarrollo de sus propias competencias culturales y artísticas. Se explicará dicha Red entendida como CASA , sin ubicación geográfica determinada,  usada como espacio artístico habitable. Como casa-cimiento, respondiendo a unas características respecto a su interfaz y forma de funcionamiento; como casa-habitada,  observatorio de migraciones de creadores, artistas, espectadores, educadores y su alumnado; como casa-conocimiento, lugar para la enseñanza visible e invisible y para las transiciones de saberes; como casa-inspiradora, lugar de información pero también de convocatorias para la creación y la acción; como casa-encendida, como laboratorio de ideas. Finalmente se  aborda una prospectiva de futuro sobre el uso de Internet entendiéndola como patrimonio migrante: un espacio complejo, creativo y muy estimulante para miradas inquietas; como espacio artístico habitable alternativo o complementario al real.

Abstract:

Addressing the social network E@ (www.arteweb.ning.com) as an artistic work, we wonder: what do we see? What do we think of it? What is it?.  The members of this network, work on it as artists as well as teachers (understood as architects of knowledge). They use it to create and exhibit their artistic and theaching work, involving their users in their own training as critical and compromised citizens, for the development of their own cultural and artistic skills. We will explain that Network understood as HOME, without a determined geographical location, used as an art space to live. As home-foundation, answering some characteristics regarding its interface and method of operation; as home-inhabited, migration observatory of creators, artists, audiences, educators and their students; as home-knowledge, a place for the visible and invisible teaching and for the transitions of knowledge; as home-inspiring, a place for information but also for calls of creation and action; as home-on, as a laboratory of ideas. Finally, we adress a forecast of the future about the use of Internet understood as migrant heritage: a complex space, creative and very stimulating to wondering glances, as a habitable art space the real alternative or complementary.
