She worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Virology in Marburg (Germany). Since 2020 she is a member of the Working Group on animal models of COVID-19 of the World Health Organization. She is also a member of the Horizon Group, created by the Regional Government of Catalonia to advise on R&D&I strategies.
