Teaching University digital journalism: the Colombian experience of De la Urbe Digital


Abstract


The incorporation of the digital journalism in the plans of study of the Communication Sciences is slow. In this article we analyze the process of introduction of this content in Colombia. A case study carries out on the cyberjournal De la Urbe Digital, experience carried out in the University of Antioch, in Medellin (Colombia), which allowed to the university students to take to the practice the theoretical contents that they were receiving. In spite of the tradition of journalism in paper that prevails in some university environments, the case that we analyze reflects methodological innovative offers.
