Reading on Web 2.0. A Case Study: Blogs in 'Reto Delirium'
Abstract
This study presents the results of a case study analysis: the blogs that took part in Reto Delirium campaign, which had been launched by SM editorial on January, 2011, in order to promote and spread Delirium, a Lauren Oliver’s book. Blogs have been conceived as a phenomenon of social communication and also, as a tool for reading promotion and these blogs have been analyzed following an exploratory, analytic and quantitative methodology. The study is focused on a virtual communication process that is localized in specific spaces (blogs) and also, in a limited temporary period, what has let us determine the abilities and possibilities for reading promotion of this new social web resource.
