Quantum Physics Virtual Laboratory: Radiation of an Incandescent Thread

Abstract

The Quantum Physics Virtual Laboratory is a learning tool for students with enough knowledge of quantum physics. It presents the measure as a fundamental element of the experiment and includes measurement elements with limited accuracy, in imitation of the real ones. The processing of the data collected from the simulation requires the intervention of the experimenter. Tables and graphics provide effective guidance to develop the experience. Validation tables allow the experimenter to know the agreement of his calculations with the ones (right) made by the application and, therefore, to correct them (if this is the case) in order to succeed in the final result of the experience.
