Professional Competences and Employment for the Future Journalist: the Case of graduate students in Journalism at Universidad Cardenal Herrera-CEU
Abstract
We present a research study focused into two different aspects; the achievement of professional competences in graduate students in Journalism at Universidad Cardenal Herrera (UCH), together with the importance that they concede to several aspects related to an employment. We extract data from the Reflex Report of ANECA entitled, The flexible professional in the Information Society establishing its comparison with our own sources obtained from the graduate students in Journalism at UCH. We also reflect empirical evidence of different levels of professional competence performance from last academic year graduate students in Journalism from the old program (named Licenciatura).
